The first installment of poll results for The Ghibli Blog Animation Poll. This post covers the Top 50 rankings, No. 1-50. Voters submitted a list of 20 animated movies or TV shows, in order, which are then scored 1-20 points. For ballots without any specific order, all entries are scored equally (10pts). In the case of a tie, the number of votes will decide. And remember, this is all for fun. Enjoy!

Great to finally see the results (at least some of it)! A very good and diverse list, almost as diverse as that 2003 Laputa festival ranking. Mind Game should have made the cut, though.
Thanks. Mind Game is on the next list, don't worry. The complete list is pretty diverse, lots of little-known gems. Who knows, maybe we should do an e-book? Oy, more work! :)
Incredibles above Wind Rises, og dear!
Ya I think during the time people submitted their personal top 20 lists the wind rises and princess kaguya were still showing in select theatres. That probably contributed to the ranking.
Where's 'Uproar in Heaven'?
Shanghai Animation Film Studio's 1964 masterpiece would crack anyone's top 10....if only it could get the distribution it deserves.
