YouTube Temporarily Down For Maintainence

Just a quick heads-up in case you hadn't already noticed earlier. YouTube is doing some routine maintainence, which means that all the videos are down. This should only last a little while, I hope. I really hope I won't have to re-enter the links to get them working again. For now, we'll all just assume that everything will be working again soon.

On a related note, I wanted to clarify something about the movies and video clips. I've mentioned earlier that a number of Studio Ghibli films have been uploaded to the YouTube site, including Cagliostro, Nausicaa and Totoro. It's been suggested that I was the one responsible for uploading them, and that isn't the case. I had nothing to do with any of them. This week's movie, Umi Ga Kikoeru, was uploaded by somebody else, and I'm just linking to it. To date, I've only uplosded two movies: Horus, Prince of the Sun, and...well, the second one's a surprise. You'll just have to wait until Sunday for our next Movie Night screening.

(Edit: Yay! We're back in business! The videos are working again, as of 10:30 am cdt.)

Too late, I already saw your surprise. I thought it was a great movie. Definately one of my favorite movies of all time. Anyways, I won't spoil the surprise for everyone else, so I'm not typing in anymore.

Well, it's really not much of a surprise. Cough, banner, cough, cough. Sorry, the humidity is getting to me. I just want to be able to pace myself enough so I say everything I want to about Umi before moving on. Hoo boy, I've got a lot to say about this next one, and goodness knows I'm falling behind enough as it is (wasn't I supposed to write more about Sherlock Hound?)

I'm not sure if your supposed write more about Sherlock Hound. Sounds like you do have a lot to say about this movie. I would like to see this movie come to the states, but I sense that disney would most likely not release this movie. I'm going to import it sometime during these next few months. I also recieved the 3000 Leagues boxed set yesterday. I can't get enough of that cartoon. I'm only on episode 14, but my favorite episode so far is the one where Fiolina performs in front of the crowd for the first time after Marco brings her the puppets from her home.

That's a magnificent scene. It remains one of the most moving moments in the entire series. Great to hear that you purchased the Marco box set.
