Regarding what you see in the theatre , a 35 mm print is 4 generations removed from the original camera negative courtesy of the photochemical duplication processes involved.

So the above articles I quite frankly----grade A bullshit.realityandfictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08629785515811864730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24969765.post-19514999031315508622009-09-10T01:10:12.851-05:002009-09-10T01:10:12.851-05:00Those shots make me want to get a Blu-Ray player m...Those shots make me want to get a Blu-Ray player more than ever. If I could afford to, I would buy one just so I could enjoy Ponyo on Blu-ray. It would be so stunning to see that beautiful artwork vividly displayed in all its glory on my hi-def TV.

Personally, I think digital is the superior format. Have you seen a movie at the theater in digital projection? It's incredible! There are no specs, scratches, dust, or spots like you would see on film projection, and the clarity and smoothness of the image is flawless. I really wish they would have done digital showings of Ponyo at the theaters--now that would be stunning.Sean L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14030703163409072830noreply@blogger.com
