Here, at long last, is the trailer to Studio Ghibli's latest masterpiece, Kokuriko-Zaka Kara. Goro Miyazaki is the director, and his father Hayao Miyazaki was involved with initial planning, scripting and storyboards. The film will open in Japanese theaters this month. Enjoy!
I'm very busy working the day job and assembling the fiance visa petition, so imagine my surprise when I found so many emails and blog comments regarding the Kara trailer. Damn, you kids are fast! I'm impressed. You're the reason why Ghibli Blog is the best Ghibli website in the world.

"lastest"? :P I should hope not!
Yeah, funny. I fixed that typo. No need in giving everyone heart attacks just yet. :P
Goro Miyazaki did storyboards work himself, not Hayao Miyazaki work.
Hayao Miyazaki did script and some image boards.
Would "image boards" mean how characters and places look like, while "storyboards" mean how the scenes would play out?
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so exciting!
Thanks so much! :D
Looks good, hope it will deliver too!
And not too long till we can see it in Europe.
Everything looked promising... until some crazy guy falling from the sky materialized out of thin air, suggestively crotch attacking the girl's face to an abrupt end.
It's fast!!! I want to watch!
Now there are only 4 days left (for Japan), but still no second trailer - but there were ads with aoi teshima singing on youtube, and a short making of of these ads...
Isn't all of this highly unusual?
